AQUA
The water used in Natural Collagen is a pure H2O purified through the process of reverse osmosis and distillation.
COLLAGEN
Protein constituting approx. 30% of the total mass of human protein and 70% of skin protein. Collagen, along with elastin, forms an elastic net in the dermis which gives the skin suppleness and firmness. Natural Collagen applied on the skin (collagen in a helical form extracted from fish skin) is an extremely effective preparation. It stimulates the renewal process, deeply regenerates, moisturises, and firms the skin. It stops the process of wrinkle formation for years. Colway’s collagen is derived from freshwater silver carp which is for the most part identical to the human protein.
CAPRYLYL GLYCOL
A safe and effective liquid preservative used as an antibacterial and antifungal agent while giving the finished product exceptional feel. It is identical to the natural substance, which means it is synthesised by the human body and its structure is the same as that of a natural compound. This ingredient, thanks to its structure, is a moisturizing (humectant) and gently lubricating factor. The presence of short chain fatty acids facilitates the absorption of our product into the skin and prevents water from escaping, thanks to the gentle lubrication effect.
ELASTIN
A naturally occurring protein in connective tissue that allows many body tissues to resume their shape after stretching or contracting. The elastin used in Natural Collagen is extracted from freshwater fish and retains its biologically active spiral structure until absorbed into the skin.
LACTIC ACID
Naturally occurs in milk fermentation. A superior exfoliant that enhances the absorption of collagen and reveals a healthier, better looking skin. The lactic acid is obtained by means of biotechnological fermentation of sugar by the bacteria of lactic acid (Lactobacillus). Being of small molecular mass it can be easily absorbed into the skin where it loosens the corneocyte layer of the epidermis to allow for the peeling away of dry skin.

MATRIXYLâ„¢ 3000
It is sometimes advertised as procollagen. Number one in world of protein biotechnology of recent years. The great rival of Retinol. Includes Pal - GHK and Pal – GQPR matrykines, which are the carriers of information on rebuilding and repairing the skin. Clinical tests proved synergy between those peptides and fish collagen. One of the most expensive substances in cosmetology. COLWAY creams contain the amazing amount of - 3% of that revolutionary substance!
GOTU-KOLA (Centella Asiatica)
It is one of the very few plants that have managed to stay popular in the world of cosmetology for more than 2 seasons. It is known in China as a longevity herb. Its extract contains flavonoids, vitamin A, C and E, triterpenes complex and magnesium. Stimulates the production of mucin and hyaluronic acid. Has demonstrated a synergistic effect with soy phytoestrogens and fish collagen.
ALOE VERA
An ingredient which is extremely rich in valuable compounds i.e. amino acids, including exogenous amino acids forming the Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF); vitamins A, C and E; vitamin B, and folic acid, which are all very important for the health of the skin, as well as in micro- and macro-elements, including the most valuable: calcium, sodium, potassium, magnese, chromium and zinc, together ensuring proper skin nourishment. ALoe extract also contains enzymes and hydroxy acids to help remove dead epidermal cells and promote epidermis regeneration, thus naturally preventing skin ageing. Aloe also contains substances with astringet, mild disinfectant, anti-inflammatory and cleansing properties. Aloe extract provides the skin with the compounds necessary to function properly. It strengthens the skin and restores its firmness, elasticity and healthy colour.
NONI (Morinda Citrifolia)
The extract of this Polynesian plant forms many cosmetics that have been successful in the market. A strong antioxidant. It treats many skin problems. Noni was chosen as an ingredient of Colway cosmetic line due to complete lack of conflict with fish collagen.
D-PANTHENOL
Vitamin B5, panthothenic acid, is a natural ingredient occuring in skin and hair, vital for their proper formation. It easily penetrates the skin, hair and nails, it reduces water loss through the epidermis and effectively moistens the skin, making it soft and elastic, it stimulates cell division, thus helping to heal and regenerate, helpful in healing wounds and minor skin damage or treating scars, it soothes and fights inflammation, helpful for skin irritations, recommended for sunburns and after shaving or epilation, soothes redness, irritation and itching. We added the best possible D-Panthenol from French laboratories – to our creams and exfoliators.
VITAMIN E (Tocopherol)
Is one of the most potent of natural antioxidants. It is recommended for the care of aall skin types but is particularly aimed at mature skin with with such problems as inadequate hydration, wrinkles and sallow colouring. The "vitamin of youth" as it is often referred to, vitamin E traps free radicals that might destroy skin structure in order to prevent premature ageing and wrinkles. It also protects the epidermis from excessive drying, halting the loss of elasticity and firmness. It restores the skin's youthful vitality and radiance. Last but not least, the anti-inflammatory and regeneration properties of vitamin E promote tissue regeneration.
BORAGE OIL
Is an extremely valuable substance used only in the best cosmetics. The oil is particularly recommended for dry, cracked and flaking skin. Thanks to its unique composition it controls skin hydration, softens the epidermis, reduces tissue tension and resulting itching. The best available in cosmetology sources of gamma - linolenic acid, parts of the vitamin F, naturally present in healthy epidermis and immunizing the skin to allergens.
