Vitamin C is a cofactor in at least eight enzymatic reactions, including several collagen synthesis reactions that, when dysfunctional, cause the most severe symptoms of scurvy. It is especially important in the process of hydroxylation of proline and lysine - two amino acids present in the collagen molecule. Hydroxylation allows the collagen molecule to assume its triple helix structure, and thus vitamin C is essential to the development and maintenance of scar tissue, blood vessels, cartilage and the condition of our skin.

 

Most animals can produce their own vitamin C, but humans have lost this ability. The human body does not produce vitamin C in the liver.

 

There is an increased demand for vitamin C supplements as we cannot always effectively ensure a regular vitamin C intake.

 

Ascorbic acid is usually synthetized from corn dextrose. It constitutes all or part of the composition of the majority of the products distributed as vitamin C. It is poorly absorbed by the body, and taking it regularly or in high doses can cause adverse health effects.

 

Vitamin C in buckwheat sprouts and bitter orange fruit has a special and important factor - very high biological activity (the extent to which the vitamin is absorbed from food, the level of how well it plays its functions within the organism and how well it prevents the deficiency of this substance).

 

C-olway is a product of no compromise.  It contains just two plant extracts and the necessary amount of anticaking agent (also of natural origin) that makes it possible to put the vitamin into capsules.

 

Ingredients:

Extract of germinating seeds of buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench), Extract of the fruit of bitter orange (Citrus aurantium L.).

 

Excipients:

Fish gelatin (capsule lagging), magnesium stearate (anti-caking natural substance).

 

Usage:

Take 1 capsule per day. (200mg of vitamin C)Do not take it with any meal containing fruits, vegetables or other natural sources of vitamin C.
